    GET INVOLVED TODAY!

There are many ways to volunteer both with your registered therapy dog - and without!

To Volunteer Without A Dog: If you do not own a potential pet partner at the moment, there are other ways to help out! Send us an email or call us today!

    To Volunteer With Your Dog:

We are looking for friendly, well-behaved dogs and their (friendly, well-behaved) owners to join us as a part of the TTT team.  If you have a dog who you think would be perfect for this kind of work, check out the box above for information about how to get registered.

If you already have a registered therapy dog, send us an email or call us today!

Here are a few ways to get involved with your dog. (Read full descriptions below.)

    Therapy Dog Registration

    • TTT Classroom Teacher

    • TTT Behavior Support Team

    • TTT Tails Of Compassion

If you think you and your dog would be a good fit for Tails To Teach, the first step is to have your dog become a registered therapy dog through one of the following organizations:

    www.petpartners.org

    www.tdi-dog.org

The next step is to apply to Tails To Teach where we will assess you and your pet partner to see where you best fit within our organization. Call or email us with any questions!

    TTT Classroom Teacher

TTT teachers take their registered therapy dogs into the classroom to teach children about kindness, compassion and empathy. The TTT program is 4 one-hour lessons over four weeks in 4th grade classrooms in Providence. Using TTT curriculum, children will get hands-on time with dogs as the 'magic' of the human-animal bond facilitates the lessons in their classroom.

    TTT Behavior Support Team

The TTT Behavior Support team is an in-school resource for principals, social workers, guidance counselors and teachers to use as students need support during the school day. Registered therapy dogs and their owners go to school to be on call for students who need a productive 'time-out' to de-stress or re-focus on their behavior at school.

    TTT Tails Of Compassion

The TTT Tails Of Compassion dogs are on-call to go to communities during times of trauma, tragedy and grief. Registered therapy dogs and their owners provide comfort for those in their darkest hour. Our dogs do a fantastic job meeting people where they are, however they are feeling. They can be a furry shoulder to cry on or a snuggly friend to make you smile.
